From Large Tennessee Retirement & Pension Board...

Jim,
In every meeting you and I have had, you have told me to let you know if there is anything you needed to know or needed to assist me with. Well here is my first request to you, Karen Senn is a miracle worker. She is in the process of finishing all the communication pieces for the Uniformed Officers Pension Plan (UOPP) and the DC Plan Enhancements. Based on my last count about 15 different pieces (SPDs, brochures, benefit snapshots, etc), not including 2 CD Presentations. In most cases, she started from scratch. She has worked long hours, traveled to Tennessee 3 times (with more to come) to help with all the design work and communcations with attorneys, actuaries and non-communication people like me. Her staff has supported her committments no matter what time of the day or night things get finalized and ready to print.
Karen has also logically organized the mailing process with a local mailhouse here in Knoxville from her CT office. She has gone over and above the “call of duty” and deserves a gold star metal (or a halo) for all of her patience, time, and effort. She will be returning next week to oversee the mailing of 5000+ packets to participants and to start working on my presentation to the Uniformed Officers, which begin April 4th. After this, my presentation on the DC Enhancements will begin in June. I hope with my comments and others to back me who have worked on this project (maybe Bob, Carissa, my attorney, etc.), you can come to the same conclusion. If there is something more I can do to assist with the recognition, please let me know.
I have worked with a lot of people at USI, but the effort, the ‘take control and do it’ attitude, and the long patient hours that she has written and rewritten the pieces have gone way beyond the norm.
Thanks for your time...” |
